In the meantime....

Hello everyone. It's been a while. Our next show is December 30th, which is in a little while. It'll be at Mercury Lounge, which is a great sounding room, so if you're in town over the holidays, stop on by. In the meantime, the focus has been on rehearsing and writing and doing a little recording. If you miss us that's ok... there might be a surprise show or two in the works, so stay tuned.

CMJ 2014

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who came to the last show at Mercury Lounge. It was a blast, and it was great seeing so many old friends and fans.

Secondly, Isle of Rhodes is playing CMJ this year. Whereas in previous years when we played multiple shows, this time there is only one show. Isle of Rhodes will be playing Spike Hill on October 24th. It's a free show, and there are a bunch of great bands playing that show along with us. So, come on by and say hello... I'll give you a free hug!

Thank You!

Isle of Rhodes would like to thank all those who came to this past Saturday's show.  It was a blast performing for all of you who came, and it was great seeing old friends and making new ones too.

Isle of Rhodes will be performing again on September 17th at Mercury Lounge.  So, mark it down in your calendars. We look forward to play for you once again!

Finally, we would like to thank all those who donated towards our indiegogo campaign. We are really proud of the product, and can't wait to share it with you!!!

HELP US MAKE OUR NEXT ALBUM!!!

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!

We've started a crowd sourcing campaign on indiegogo. We're trying to raise funds to help us make our next full length album. If you've been to our shows recently, you will have heard a bunch of new songs. The feedback on those songs has been amazing. Now, we're preparing to enter the studio to make these bad boys come alive! Sadly, we can't do it alone. So, we're asking for your support to make this next album the best one yet. Please visit our indiegogo page, and share it with your friends. We need all the help we can get.

With your support we can make an incredible album! No band is an island, we like the sea. Come take a dip with us!

ROCKSHOP this Saturday!

We'll be playing a show this Saturday at the Rockshop in Brooklyn. This show promises to be unlike any Isle of Rhodes show that has happened up to date. Let's just say we have something very special up our sleeves, and you most definitely want to be there!!! Also, it's Rob's birthday, so you should come by and wish him well as he celebrates one more solar orbit.

Affirmation Caravan EP is out!

As of this past Tuesday, our new EP "Affirmation Caravan" is available for download and streaming!!! We're very proud of this record so  check it out!

Also, we would like to thank everybody who came out and supported us during our residency. We hope you all enjoyed the new songs. Right now, we're taking a little time off from performing to focus on finishing off the writing for our next full length ablum. That means that our next show will be filled with almost all brand new tunes!!!

Our Residency at Spike Hill starts tonight!!!

Our Saturday night residency starts tonight!!! All the shows are FREE so feel free to stop on by, have a drink (or don't if you don't like to drink) and party with us. We're working out our next album so the odds are great that you'll be able to catch a song or two that you've never heard before at each show.

Here are the dates and times:

1/18 - 11:00 PM

1/25 - 10:00 PM

2/1   - 11:00 PM

2/8   - 10:00 PM (EP release party)

Also, our upcoming "Afirmation Caravan EP", which is due to release February 11th, has been receiving some decent press recently. If you would like a teaser of the new music go ahead and visit Ourvinyl (free download), MTVU or SYFFAL and catch the new "Islands." You can also just watch it on youtube:

We're Writing

Hey everybody, we just wanted to let you know we're still around. Right now, we're in the process of writing our new album. We're nine songs in, so by the next time you hear us live (Dec. 14th @ Spike Hill) you'll be able to catch some tunes you've never heard before.

We also have four songs which we'll be releasing in February as part of a new EP named "Affirmation Caravan". We've re-recorded a few songs from "All Rivers and Oceans" with Colin, who wasn't a member when it was released. The tunes are also re-mixed and re-mastered, so, for all intents and purposes these songs are brand spanking new!!! There will also be videos for these songs so stay tuned for that!

Finally, we will be having a residency at Spike Hill starting January! It's a Saturday night residency, and all the shows will be free! That should be a total blast! In the meantime enjoy this photo of us during at last tour (this is at the Rock and Roll Hotel in DC) :
